As the semester moves on I have had a good experience so far in EME2040. Professor Dan He is very kind and truly does care for her students. I am taking this course fully online and I have had some likes and dislikes. Some of the things I have liked so far in this class is how organized everything is, I like how we know exactly what is expected from us and when all the assignments are due. I also like how we can look ahead into next weeks materials and assignments. This helps if I have a busy week coming and need to do the assignments before hand. One thing I dislike about taking it fully online is the communication aspect, it is a little harder to communicate with fellow students and the professor compared to if it was an in person class. I think one thing I can do as a teacher to improve this course would be nothing, I say this because this class is managed smoothly and it already addresses the on dislike that I have because there is a class group chat type of thing for communication.

To my understanding OER's are teaching, learning, and research materials created and licensed to be free for the end user to own, share, and sometimes, modify. The online resource I found that explains OER'S and gives examples of them is a website created by Indiana University of Pennsylvania. This website provides a ton of OER's for many of subjects like math. science, etc. This website also explains what OER'S are, where you can find them, and the purpose of them. This is the link to my website: https://libraryguides.lib.iup.edu/oer/finding_oer

After completing assignment 4 I have acquired a variety of new skills on PowerPoint. These skills include how to add a footer to the slide, how to do add speaker notes, and how to record myself giving the presentation directly in the PowerPoint. One thing I did not like about this assignment is the time limit we had for the presentation, I felt kind of rushed during the presentation trying to fit all of the information in. One suggestion for this assignment would to simply just add a few more minutes on the time limit. One thing I liked about this assignment was how it tested my understanding of PowerPoint, I have not used PowerPoint much over the last few years, so this assignment definitely tested my skills on PowerPoint.
